DocuSign
Smart Flows allows you to connect your DocuSign account to your project and use it as a part of your work flow automation. When you generate a document that contains a DocuSign electronic signature, the system works one of two ways:
Note:You can have a signature placeholder in the template for an in-person signing ceremony and a different signature placeholder in the same template for a sign by e-mail ceremony for a different recipient. When Designers add fields in this manner, the DocuSign envelope sends both an email and provides an in-person link to both recipients.
- The system produces a link that redirects your signer to the signing procedure. This method is sign in person The system provides a link to the signature procedure as a part of an in-person transaction such as a mail carrier requring signature confirmation of delivery., where the signing needs to occur as a person-to-person interaction. An example of this would be a mail carrier requiring signature confirmation to deliver a package.
- The system sends an e-mail to your recipients so they can sign the document. This is called sign by e-mail The system sends an e-mail is to your recipients so they can sign the document.. An example of this would be sending a document to a vendor to complete an order or transaction.
